Description

Tripod “tabouret” stool by Jean Raymond Picard, also the author of the first French green fiberglass chair of the 1950s.

Both are known to have been produced by “SETA,” a French interior design company of the time. The stool presents three iron legs in excellent patina and a very ergonomic seat that fits its host perfectly. The Stool presents with faded red fiberglass/parchment shell with visible fibers and excellent patina. The stool through its very mid-century French forms is ideal for design environments and modernist style. It shows wear and tear due to its age and use.
