Ico Parisi Vintage Wood and Brass Swivel Bookcase (Attr.)

Out of stock

Beautiful wooden revolving bookcase attributed to the fantastic designer Ico Parisi dating from around the 1960s.
The bookcase has a central black painted iron rod that serves as the central stem of the bookcase, under the stem is a base with four feet with brass plates in original patina, which give stability to the piece of furniture. The stem runs the full height of the bookcase itself and ends with a cylindrical brass toeboard.
The bookcase has four square shelves that through a special mechanism manage to rotate 360 degrees. Each shelf has two wooden side planks suitable to hold and stabilize the books, attached to the top through two iron and brass elements.
The bookcase is a truly rare and eccentric piece, suitable for study areas or special homes.
