Pair of Italian post-modern armchairs designed by Gaetano Pesce for Cassina in the 1980s.
The armchairs by Gaetano Pesce are the famous Cannaregio model from 1987. The pair created by Gaetano Pesce consists of an armless armchair and a second armchair complete with two armrests. The fabric of the first armchair is polyester wadding of different colors, while the second armchair has a woven cotton weave of gray color.The supporting structure of Gaetano Pesce’s armchairs is made of wood.
The padding is in polyurethane foam. The cover is removable, in pairs with polyester wadding. Original fabric of the time. The pair of armchairs is ideal for eclectic and very futuristic living rooms.

Gaetano Pesce with his creations has created several debates on themes of great importance, including the support of the diversity of individuals, the sensory stimulation through experiences around or inside objects, the peculiarity of the ‘badly made’.
