Description

Eccentric, modernist armchairs Afra and Tobia Scarpa for 1960s Italian manufacturer CASSINA. The armchairs feature their Cassina label. The model we propose is the Carlotta model.
Made of beech wood in essential execution with joints present in its legs. The armchairs Afra and Tobia Scarpa has an essential execution , the legs are made from a wooden rectangle with visible joints. The seat and its backrest also is made from a wooden frame anchored to the legs by bolts . The back the armchairs Afra and Tobia Scarpa and its seat have strings that are used to support its cushions with white and blue striped cotton fabric. The cushions also are original to the period. Under its frame we find its original label.
The armchairs are in their original condition and show obvious wear, but total restoration is possible upon request. The pair of armchairs given their geometric shape and very airy because of its essential structure, they are ideal for living rooms with a very essential design or for beautifully designed gardens or terraces.
