Pretty set of 6 chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for the Brazilian airline Varig in the 1950s. The chairs are part of the Butterfly model.
The frame of Arne Jacobsen’s set is made of painted iron and the seat is made of curved wood.
The chairs are called Butterfly because of their curved line that resembles two wings.
Under the seat is the original Danimark mark.
Arne Jacobsen chairs are perfect for furnishing essential dining tables with a modern taste.
